Understanding Inclusive Practices: Supporting ALL Learners: “Look For’s” Creating Productive and “Listen For’s” an Administrator's Workshop Series
This professional development opportunity for instructional leaders is facilitated by G&R Senior Staff. It is delivered in three virtual 2-hour segments in order to accommodate for administrator’s schedules and to allow participants to return to their buildings and reflect on the content in their school community. Designed for administrators and building instructional leaders. This workshop is designed to support and guide an ongoing conversation around the realities and continued work of building and sustaining inclusive school communities. We present an overview of G&R Content that will be presented to teachers while providing administrators with the specific “Look Fors” and “Listen Fors” that build practice in the classrooms. Together we will explore what has worked in the past for district leaders, take stock of where we are now and problem solve some of the current challenges. The Coach will provide structures, templates and a presentation of related content to ensure that administrators have the resources they need to support staff as they continue to build skills as inclusive educators. This session will overview and summarize all the content being presented to teachers in the other workshop offerings with a specific lens for administrators and instructional leaders.
